One of the first areas of focus at the company’s inception 14 years ago were the systems devoted to financial reporting, consolidation, forecasting and planning (a component of the BI space now known as Enterprise Performance Management [EPM]).

By the late 1990’s Hyperion was a mainstay software vendor in this market, with market leading products such as MicroControl and Pillar. SystemsAccountants quickly established a team dedicated to this product range and it has remained a cornerstone of our business ever since. To date SystemsAccountants has undertaken over 600 Hyperion Consultant-specific recruitment assignments, making this the single largest systems specialism within the company. Our Hyperion clients have included a significant proportion of the FTSE100 and Fortune 500.

Over the years we have seen Hyperion introduce a number of new products to market, including Hyperion Enterprise, Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Planning. They have made market changing acquisitions (such as that of Arbor and its hugely powerful multi-dimensional database tool, Essbase) and were themselves acquired by Oracle in 2007 as part of the recent consolidation of the business systems software market.
